Okay, I must confess it was me that took that leftover sip of coffee from Nana’s cup every morning. I was maybe 5-6 years old. From then on I’ve been hooked. Coffee is a wonderful thing. It’s warm comforting, lifts you up, sharpens your mind if only for an instant, lol. As I started into the world of cycling, I begin to notice a strong connection between the two. As if one was married to the other. I would read and see pics of cyclists at the coffee house, or taking in ride breaks for it. I begin to wonder why this phenomenon was happening. So you know me the nerd (used in the positive). I started with the science of it. What is coffee? What are the benefits of drinking coffee? What are the benefits of cyclists drinking coffee?
